PROJECTS
Past, Present, and Future
We assist in takeint 1,000 children fishing on the first Saturday in May. "Fishing Kids"
Yearly assist in taking "Shriner's Kids" fishing in our boats in August. "C.A.S.T. for Kids"
We fund a $1,000 scholarship to Eastern Washington University's Biology Department.
We support Washington's Department
of Fish and Wildlife program.
"Go Play Outside"
Support high school students fishing at local lakes.
Fund Pothole Reservoirs "Fish Enhancement Program" $2,900.
Placed three gazebos at National
Park camp grounds on Lake Roosevelt.
(Kettle Falls, Hunters, and Spring Canyon)
Have made public launch improvements at Sprague Lake.
Purchased fixtures and pay electric bill for light at Loon Lake public launch.
Purchased heater for warm water hatchery.
Funded a barge for placing underwater structures for fish enhancement.
Support the "fishing pond" at Valley Fest sponsored by Wholesale Sports.
Donated $5,000 towards refurbishing the Northport boat launch.
We also have seminars on basic walleye fishing, boating safety, and conservation.
To raise funds for these projects we produce a yearly professional walleye tournament, and have a "Tackle Raffle".
We have monthly meetings, a bi-monthly newsletter, and a web site.
