Members of Spokane Walleye Club may check in at Site A as early as 1 PM on Thursday, June 15th. Check out is noon on Monday, June 19th.

  • A fishing contest will be held on Saturday. Prizes will be awarded to big fish and smallest fish.

  • Potluck will be held around noon on Saturday the 17th. Please bring a side dish or dessert to pass. The club will provide fried turkey and fish.

  • A small group potluck breakfast will be held on Sunday at 9 AM.

  • Access to electrical outlets is limited. Bring an extension cord or two if you require power. Many club members will be running generators from time to time.

  • There are 2 water faucets. We have access to pit toilets.We frequently have a small group breakfast on Sunday around 830 AM. If you wish to participate bring a breakfast item to share (potluck style).

Things to bring:

  • A side dish or dessert to share at the 1 PM potluck picnic on Saturday

  • Some members gather for a Sunday breakfast, and share breakfast foods

  • Please consider bringing a bundle or two of dry firewood for our evening bonfires

  • Bug spray (mosquitoes can be bad at this campground, but usually don’t hatch until late June)

UPDATE: Club Picnic Fish Contest Rules

1.  Contest will be for two categories- largest walleye and smallest fish.  The smallest fish can be any species but must be caught on hook and line.

2.  All entries are individual.  No boat entries.

3.  Pick up an entry card from Chuck at the campground in the white wall tent. The entry  card  will contain the following  info: Competitor number, competitor name, phone number, and space to record fish lengths.  All fish entered must be recorded on the card.  If Chuck is out fishing, the cards will be on a table right in front of his tent.  Take one, fill it out, and go fishing!

4.  To enter a fish, take a clear picture of the fish that shows the length of the fish and includes the entry card in the picture.  The card  must be in the picture!  Record the length of the fish to the nearest 1/8 inch on the card.

5.  You will need to show the picture of your entered fish to Chuck or George (or  any other club official).  The person you give the card to will initial your verified entry.  You then turn in your verified card to Chuck before noon Sunday

6.  Prizes will be awarded at noon on Sunday.  Anglers may turn in their cards at any time before noon on Sunday and do not have to be present Sunday to win.

If the angler is not present Sunday, the fish must be verified in advance (see rule 5 ) to be eligible for the contest.
